Getting Started with Lomio

Everything you need to go from sign-up to your first AI-generated script in one session.

What is Lomio?

Lomio is an AI Short Drama Operating System — a workflow-first content production platform built for short-drama studios, advanced AI creators, and content teams that need to produce at scale. Think of it as the operating layer that sits between your creative vision and the AI models that bring it to life.

Lomio is not a general-purpose AI chatbot or a generic dashboard. Every feature — from the project structure to the generation pipeline — is designed around the realities of producing episodic short-form drama at volume.

Core capabilities

  • Script & storyboard generation — AI-powered generation with versioned prompts, variable injection, and output schemas.
  • Character identity system — build characters with detailed profiles, traits, relationships, and LoRA identity assets for visual consistency.
  • Video pipeline — take approved storyboards all the way to rendered video through an automated multi-stage pipeline.
  • Workspace-based collaboration — multi-tenant model with role-based access so your whole team works in the same environment.
  • Knowledge base & RAG — attach reference documents, style guides, and world-building assets to projects so generation stays on-brand.
  • Credits-based billing — transparent usage metering so you always know what generation costs.

Step 1 — Sign in

Lomio uses Google OAuth for authentication — there is no separate username and password to manage. Navigate to app.lomio.art and click Sign in with Google. You will be redirected to Google's consent screen, and then back to Lomio once authenticated.

No account yet?

The first time you sign in Lomio automatically creates your user account. You do not need to register separately.

Step 2 — Create a workspace

Every project in Lomio lives inside a workspace. A workspace is your studio's private environment — it has its own members, billing, settings, and asset library.

  1. After sign-in you land on the workspace selector. If you have no workspaces yet, you will see a prompt to create one.
  2. Click Create workspace, enter a name (e.g. your studio name), and choose a URL-friendly slug. The slug appears in shareable links and cannot be changed after creation.
  3. Select a plan. The Starter plan is free and sufficient to explore Lomio. Upgrade at any time from Workspace Settings → Billing.
  4. Click Create. You are now the Owner of the workspace and land on the studio dashboard.

See the Workspace Guide for a full explanation of roles, members, and settings.

Step 3 — Create your first project

A project maps to a single short-drama series or standalone production. From the studio dashboard:

  1. Click New Project in the left sidebar or on the dashboard home card.
  2. Fill in the project name, genre, target platform (e.g. TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels), and a short description.
  3. Set the project visibility (private by default) and initialstatus (Development / Production / Completed).
  4. Click Create Project. You land on the project dashboard where you can start adding episodes, characters, and knowledge-base documents.
