Responsible AI Usage

Lomio is a powerful production platform. With that power comes responsibility — for us, and for you. This page explains acceptable use, prohibited content, and what you are responsible for as a Lomio user.

You are responsible for the content you create

By using Lomio, you accept that you are solely responsible for all content you upload, configure, and generate on the platform, regardless of whether that content was produced by AI or by you directly.

Acceptable use

Lomio is designed for:

  • AI short drama production — creating scripts, storyboards, characters, and video content for short-form episodic entertainment.
  • Commercial and creative content — projects intended for publication on social media platforms, streaming services, or private distribution.
  • Professional team workflows — studios and creators using Lomio as an industrialized production tool.
  • Research and development — exploring AI-assisted storytelling and production workflows (subject to the same content rules).

Prohibited content and uses

The following are strictly prohibited on Lomio. Violations may result in immediate account suspension, workspace termination, and referral to relevant authorities where required by law.

Always prohibited

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors. Zero tolerance; immediately reported to the relevant authorities.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery — generating realistic imagery of identifiable real people in sexual or intimate contexts without verified consent.
  • Incitement to violence or terrorism — content that incites, glorifies, or provides material support for real-world violence, terrorism, or hate crimes.
  • Unlawful activities — using Lomio to produce content that facilitates illegal acts, including fraud, harassment, stalking, or extortion.

Platform safety rules

  • No deceptive synthetic media — you may not use Lomio to generate realistic deepfakes of real individuals intended to deceive viewers into believing real events occurred.
  • No coordinated inauthentic behavior — do not use Lomio to mass-produce content intended to manipulate public opinion through fake personas or bot-driven distribution.
  • No spam or junk content at scale — generating large volumes of low-quality content intended purely to game algorithms or flood platforms.
  • No circumvention attempts — do not attempt to bypass Lomio's content safety systems through prompt injection, jailbreaking, or any other technique.

Content moderation

Lomio operates several layers of content moderation:

  • Prompt-level filters — generation requests are screened against safety classifiers before being sent to AI models. Requests that trigger safety rules are rejected and logged.
  • Output screening — generated text and images are reviewed by automated classifiers before being stored or displayed. Content that fails output screening is withheld and the task is flagged.
  • Human review — flagged content is escalated to the Lomio Trust & Safety team for manual review. Repeated flags on a workspace may lead to investigation and suspension.
  • Audit logging — all generation tasks are permanently logged with the prompt used and the output produced. Logs are retained per our data retention policy and may be reviewed in response to abuse reports or legal requests.

Content moderation is imperfect. If you encounter generated content that you believe violates these policies or that should have been caught by moderation, report it via trust@lomio.art.

Intellectual property and likeness

Your content

You retain ownership of the original creative content you input into Lomio — your scripts, characters, world-building documents, and reference images. You grant Lomio a limited license to process this content to provide the service.

AI-generated output

The IP status of AI-generated content varies by jurisdiction and is an evolving legal area. Lomio does not make representations about the copyright status of AI-generated outputs. You are responsible for understanding the applicable law in your jurisdiction and ensuring your use of generated content complies with it.

Training data and third-party IP

Do not upload content to Lomio's knowledge base or character profiles that you do not have rights to use. Do not attempt to use Lomio to reproduce copyrighted scripts, screenplays, or other protected works verbatim. Use Lomio to create new, original works inspired by (not copied from) existing IP.

Real person likeness

Generating realistic visual representations of identifiable real people — particularly public figures — carries significant legal and ethical risks including right-of-publicity claims, defamation, and impersonation. If your production features characters based on or inspired by real people, consult qualified legal counsel before publishing. Lomio does not provide legal advice.

LoRA and identity assets

When training a LoRA on reference images, you must have the right to use those images for model training. You may not train LoRA models using images of real people without their explicit consent. Lomio reserves the right to remove LoRA assets that appear to have been trained on non-consenting individuals.

Age-appropriate content

Lomio supports mature dramatic content (violence, complex themes, adult situations appropriate for drama) but does not support explicit sexual content by default. If your workspace has been approved for mature content (available on Studio and Enterprise plans following verification), additional categories may be unlocked. All content — even in mature-enabled workspaces — must comply with the absolute prohibitions listed above.

Platform distribution compliance

If you publish Lomio-generated content on third-party platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc.), you are responsible for complying with those platforms' own content policies, labeling requirements for synthetic media, and creator guidelines. Many platforms now require disclosure of AI-generated content — check each platform's current rules.

Reporting violations

If you encounter content on Lomio that violates this policy, or if you suspect another user or workspace is misusing the platform, report it to trust@lomio.art. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Lomio evolves and as the regulatory landscape around AI content develops. Material changes will be communicated via the platform and via email to workspace owners. Continued use of Lomio after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
